The Quiet Village is seeking electronic music and sound art that pushes the boundaries of ambient and environmental music, in keeping with high standards of composition, execution, presentation and aesthetics. 

Our guiding principal is as follows:

"Ambient music must be able to accommodate many levels of listening attention without enforcing one in particular; it must be as ignorable as it is interesting." - Brian Eno

Submission deadline for Quiet Village 4.0 is August 1, 2021. Due to Covid-19, we are giving preference to Hudson Valley artists.

We have further programs in the planning stages, and will announce requests for submissions accordingly.
